Data we collect
Smart Pass is a desktop application. We do not operate servers that receive your conversations or usage data. All session history is stored locally on your machine in the application's configuration directory.
API keys
Your Anthropic and OpenAI API keys are stored locally, encrypted on disk. They are sent directly to Anthropic or OpenAI servers when you make a request. We never receive or log your API keys.
Third-party services
Smart Pass communicates with Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), and optionally Deepgram (live transcription) APIs directly from your device using your own API keys. Their respective privacy policies apply.
License activation
When you activate a Pro license, the activation code is verified locally using a cryptographic signature. No network request is made during activation.
